Which boiler is for best for me?
Combination Boiler
A combination/combi is both a high-efficiency instant water and a central heating boiler combined within one compact unit. They typically work by taking cold water straight from the mains supply and heating it as you require it – eliminating the need for a water cylinder therefore freeing up space in your property.
Open Vented System
A typical regular boiler system has components housed externally from the boiler itself, it has a hot water cylinder which is fed by a cold water expansion tank which is usually located in the loft.
Conventional Sealed System
A conventional boiler with a sealed system is almost identical to a standard conventional system without all the external components. It houses a hot water cylinder however instead
of having the expansion tank in the loft it is replaced with an expansion vessel in the boiler itself.

A Magnetic Filter is a filter system which essentially stops your system from building up with Magnetite also known as sludge, increasing energy efficiency and output within the system.
Limescale Reducer
Your scale reducer will be connected to the cold water mains and will work by reducing the risk of limescale build-up within your boiler.

Here at Gas Mate not only do we strive to deliver the best installations using our market leading products and controls, but the environment is also of great importance to us so we remove your waste efficiently and correctly. Leaving you reassured you are protecting the environment.
Chemical Flush
A chemical flush is a cleansing process which will clear sludge, rust and any other debris form your central heating system, pipes and radiator. These deposits if left can seriously affect the efficiency of your heating system and can cause cold spots in your radiator even after bleeding them.
Water Flow
We measure your water flow to determine and accurate boiler size.
As Gas Safe registered engineers we are able to legally work on many types gas and lpg appliances that heat your property. This means that your new boiler will be installed to the highest standards.
Boiler repairs
Got no heating or hot water? You can rely on us to quickly respond and diagnose the problem, so that your boiler is back in full working order as soon as possible. Whatever the problem may be, our expert engineers will find the solution.
